This course consists of a series of workshops which look at each role and where it fits within the life circle and stages of womanhood. Conflicts in managing the ‘traditional’ versus the ‘modern’ often leave women confused with a ‘lost’ identity’. Managing a career, relationships, family life, pregnancy, the ‘empty nest’, and menopause all create stress and life changes that in many ways are still unique to women. Society’s expectations on women can often leave us feeling lost, guilty, ashamed, inadequate, and unsuccessful.

During retreat/workshop holidays there is extensive sleeping accommodation and living space due to the cottage being used as well as the main house. All the rooms are light and airy and comfortably furnished. Bedrooms offer superb views and those in the main house have en-suites. Bevarage facilities are provided in each bedroom and luxury bed-linen and towels. Many of the rooms have exposed beams. Guests can enjoy the large comfortable lounge with open log fire, plus two other smaller sitting rooms which can be used for reading, music or other activities. We offer healthy home cooking using local produce and vegetables from our own garden and with adequate notice can cater for special dietary requirements. Meals can be taken outdoors on the sun-terrace, or in the dining room in the main house.
